What is a lightbox?

A lightbox is a useful feature that allows you to compile multiple images of your choice in a gallery that you create. You can add and remove photos as needed for comparison, consideration for a project or later viewing. If you would like to share the contents of your lightbox with someone else, you can download all of your lightbox selections in a single Zip file and send it using your email program.

Lightbox Functions

Simply begin adding photos as described below to create your personal lightbox.

• Adding Photos - Select the "Lightbox" link to add an image to your lightbox.
• Removing Photos - Select "Lightbox" link to remove a single image or the link titled "Remove All Images" to remove all photos from your lightbox.
• Sorting Photos - You can sort photos in your lightbox using the "Sort Images" options available in your lightbox.
• Saving Your Lightbox - Your lightbox is automatically saved, because lightbox information is stored in a small cookie that is stored on your computer. If the cookie has not been deleted from your computer or overwritten by a new TobinPhoto lightbox, your lightbox will appear as you left it next time you visit. You can also bookmark your lightbox (Add to Favorites) by first selecting the "Save Lightbox" link, then adding the URL to your browser's "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" list.
• Downloading Photos - First select the "Save Lightbox" link, then the "Download Images as Zip" link to download your lightbox as a Zip file. The Zip file will include low-resolution comp images (495 x 345 pixels) and our license agreement. Image downloads are strictly for evaluation as described in this license. Please contact us if you are uncertain about your rights.
• Sharing Your Lightbox - You can share your entire lightbox selection with someone else by first selecting the "Save Lightbox" link, then the "Email your lightbox" link. You can also download all of your lightbox selections, as described above, then share the Zip file (according to the terms of this license).

Browser Compatibility

Our lightbox is compatible with all recent browsers, but JavaScript and cookies must be enabled to use this feature. Also note that your lightbox information will be lost if cookies are deleted from your computer between visits to this web site.
